Kitchen Designs from Cocina Kitchens

An important design feature to consider when buying a new kitchen is how you would like your cabinet doors to feature. There are 2 options; LAY-ON which means your door sits on the front and closes onto the carcass front edges or IN-FRAME which means the door sits within a frame work built around the front of the carcass and the door sits flush inside it. Our image gallery shows photos of both options.

Market demand for modern, traditional and shaker style kitchens has far from diminished. We recognise that quality and choice matters when investing in a fitted kitchen and so the demand for a Cocina Kitchen remains buoyant as we cater for all budgets.

Fitted kitchens come in all sorts of different styles. There are almost unlimited colours, textures and materials to choose from. Furthermore, the different ranges of cooking appliances, sinks, taps and worktops only add to the choices we can help you make when considering your purchase. There are a number of different elements to a kitchen design that need to work together to create the right look to suit your home and lifestyle.

Modern

MODERN

Modern fitted kitchens are today much more than functional rooms. They are living spaces where you not only cook but eat and relax in as well. They represent a lifestyle.

Subtle or vibrant, versatile, practical and functional, minimalist and sleek, deceptively spacious, balanced and proportional, understated, luxurious or cutting edge– never before has your choice of a modern fitted kitchen been so wide. Cocina’s modern kitchens are designed with meticulous attention to detail for function and aesthetics.

Worktops in Granite, Quartz, Corian or wood can be shaped and profiled in unique ways to complement the profile of the modern door panels, breakfast bars, islands, sinks and cookers. Corian has the advantage of being seamless with the option of having a moulded Corian sink which adds a very sleek look to a modern kitchen.

Traditional

TRADITIONAL

One of the advantages of a traditional kitchen and a reason why so many people choose this style is because it will not date or go out of fashion – this classic look is well established and is very much here to stay. You sometimes can’t beat the charm and warmth of a traditional kitchen, and they are just as popular now for the city centre townhouse, as they are for the rural country farmhouse.

shaker

SHAKER

The look that identifies the very popular Shaker style kitchen is simple and timeless, elegant but unpretentious. The versatility of the Shaker kitchen allows for both traditional and modern designs to be created. This is one style that will suit almost any property.
